Robert B. Wilson (1937- )

Awarded the Prize “for improvements to auction theory and inventions of new auction formats.”

American economist. Born on March 16, 1937 in Geneva, NE, USA. Dr. Wilson received a Bachelors degree from Harvard University in 1959, a Masters degree in Business Administration from Harvard University in 1961, and a Doctorate degree from Harvard University in 1963. Currently he is the Adams Distinguished Professor of Management, Emeritus at Stanford University School of Business.
